This Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the “Board”) to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to provide General Contractor Services for the  "School A" Addition and Renovation Project as further described in Section A of the RFSQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).

The "School A" Addition (5,343ft²) and Renovation (8,489ft²) Project delivers a coordinated program of new construction, selective demolition (4,944ft²), renovations, and site servicing upgrades to modernize the existing school and support current and future educational needs. The project is intended to increase instructional capacity, enhance accessibility, improve building performance, and address aging infrastructure while integrating seamlessly with the existing facility and maintaining operational continuity where possible.

The core component of the project is the construction of a new building addition that provides modern instructional and support spaces, including classrooms, resource areas, administrative support functions, circulation corridors, mechanical and electrical spaces, and universal washrooms. The addition is designed to connect directly to the existing building through coordinated architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical systems, creating a cohesive and functional learning environment.

This RFSQ is the first stage in a two-stage procurement process for the selection of a General Contractor to complete the Project. In this stage, the Board intends to conduct a prequalification process for General Contractors. Only General Contractors prequalified through this RFSQ process will be invited to participate in the second stage of the procurement process.
