This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the “Board”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for 202600167 Site improvement at Centennial Public School, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

The site improvement project at Centennial PS, located at 120 Normal Rogers Drive, Kingston ON, involves site works intended to enhance outdoor recreation, learning opportunities, and overall site functionality while preserving existing natural features. The scope includes site preparation and demolition such as removal of existing soccer goals, baseball backstop, funball post, select lawn areas, and loose rocks and concrete, with two existing play structures carefully relocated on site. Earthworks include stripping and regrading as required, forming shallow drainage swales and low berms, reusing suitable on-site soils, and reinstating disturbed areas with topsoil and lawn restoration.

New site features include two soccer fields with permanent goals, a long jump sand pit, asphalt walkways, stone dust and engineered wood fibre safety surfacing, and a new outdoor classroom area complete with Armour stone seating, a double-sided chalk board, and a storage shed. The project concludes with comprehensive planting and landscape restoration, including new trees, shrubs, grasses, mulched planting beds, and lawn reinstatement. Contractor will be responsible for the coordination of installation of the new play structure ordered by the Board.
