This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the “Board”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for RFQ 202600112 Site improvement at Rideau Heights Public School, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). 

The site improvement project at Rideau Heights PS, located at 77 MacCauley Street, Kingston ON, involves site works intended to enhance outdoor recreation, learning opportunities, and overall site functionality while preserving existing natural features. The scope includes site preparation and demolition, such as removal of existing paving, soccer goals, play structure, and select lawn areas. Earthworks include stripping and regrading as required, reusing suitable on-site soils, and reinstating disturbed areas with topsoil and lawn restoration.

New site features include a soccer field with permanent goals, a long jump sand pit, asphalt walkways, stone dust and engineered wood fibre safety surfacing, and a new outdoor classroom area complete with armour stone seating, a double-sided chalkboard, sunshade posts and a storage shed. The project concludes with comprehensive planting and landscape restoration, including new trees, shrubs, grasses, mulched planting beds, lawn reinstatement and paving. The contractor will be responsible for coordinating the installation of the new play structure ordered by the Board.
