This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the “Board”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations Window and Door Replacement and Masonry Repairs at Winston Churchill Public School , as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”). The project includes for the full replacement of approximately 75 existing windows of varying sizes and one hollow metal exterior door. The scope of work includes for the replacement of one hollow metal door and frame, including hardware, the replacement all existing aluminum framed windows with new aluminum framed windows, replacement of existing exterior window sills, removal of decorative stucco and associated interior finishing resulting from the window replacement. In addition to the window and door scope of work, the project also includes comprehensive masonry repairs for the entire facility. Project Schedule: All off-site activities related to the project are required to commence immediately upon award, including provision of shop drawings, material ordering, etc. All on-site activities related to the project are to commence on June 28th, 2021. Substantial Performance of the Contract shall be achieved no later than August 27th, 2021. On-site activities following this date will be restricted as required to accommodate the normal operation of the school.
